Sultan Jahm Bazei of the Sultanate of Diqaan's sister, Imam Tiqua Bazei, leads all mosques on the island of Diqaan. She is known for both her impassioned speeches and her distrust of mainlanders.
After the recent attempt on the life of Sultan Jahm Bazei, the assassin was caught and killed. Tiqua has led the further investigation, which so far has proved fruitless. The reason for this is that Tiqua has become aware that the Sultan is keeping much of the promised tribute to the Caliph for himself. Upon such a discovery, the Caliph may install a new Sultan, and the rule of the Bazei family will be ended. It is she who contacted the Million Shards and arranged the attack.
