Esojen Yain, the Maupak of Chae, is aided in all things by Wasula, a female noble genie. The Maupak herself freed Wasula from imprisonment, and the genie serves by choice. Wasula is fanatically loyal to Yain. If the genie perceives a threat, she will stop at nothing to aid her liege. Wasula is on good terms with the other genies who live in Surradi's towers. Wasula speaks for all genies in Chae in court.
