The rocky, inhospitable eastern coastline of the Sabo Jungles, known as the Coast of Teeth because of its numerous sea stacks and rocky pinnacles, makes it almost impossible for ships to put in anywhere in the region. Mariners tend to give this area of whirlpools and shifting, galeforce winds a wide berth. This is fortunate, since sea-going monsters dominate the waters here.
The best places to dock along the Coast of Teeth are in the mouths of its numerous rivers, although coral reefs tend to block the way to most of them. The ruined harbor of Yanda is another place where port can be made. At the northern end of the coast, Gelpan-Yun is a little-known ruined city of immense size. Many other ancient ruins dot the coastline as well. Caves all along the coast lead deep underground, possibly providing entrances to the ruins and access to the mysterious treasures they may hold.
